After graduating from Virginia Tech with a BA in Art, I attended the Portfolio Center in Atlanta, Georgia – a professional school for graphic design, photography, advertising design and illustration.

I began my career as a mechanical artist in advertising with typesetters, wax machines and stat cameras. I now have over 25 years of advertising and graphic design experience.

I have worked for The Martin Agency in Richmond, VA, Wieden & Kennedy in Portland, OR, and most recently I was art director for Porcaro Communications in Anchorage, Alaska. Even though I am self-employed in St. Petersburg, Florida, I still work with Porcaro on projects.
